HIS SERVANTS WILL ARISE AND BUILD

PRAISE AND PRAYER REQUESTS
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF THE PROPERTY ON OMETEPE. 

So I answered them and said to them, "The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; 

therefore we His servants will arise and build..."

Nehemiah 2:20

Thank you Lord for ALL Your blessings and all the people You have

used to help us move forward in Your plans for us on the Island of

Ometepe.

We thank God for my
parents who have been very helpful
in the organization and set up
as we begin our work in the
ministry on Ometepe

For Moms heart to use
her creative talents
with the ladies in the churches
surrounding the Centre
on Ometepe to raise awareness
of our ministry on the Island

For all the effort my parents made
to organize this Fund raising dinner
on the farm for Gods ministry
with the kids on the Island.

For the long hours Dad
spent on the road going back
and forth getting coffee roasted
to raise support for our work
reaching children for Christ.

For all the Saturdays where my parents
got up early to sell the coffee at their
local market and raising awareness
of the work of CEF in Nicaragua.

We thank God also for sharing their wisdom
with us during their missionary trip
in January 2018 where we spent
hours planning how best to use the
space in the building for a kitchen...

Looking at all the possible
places...

And positions to place a temprorary shower in
the building...
.

So that Pedrito, Yesenia, and all who
come to help me work
could have a better place to shower. 

We also thank Mom and Dad as we spent countless
conversations...

Drawing up many plans, and possible
designs for a future building.

Walking the extra mile looking at 
different ideas for construction

Investigating prices at hardware stores
and talking to experienced builders
getting different ideas for building... 

So that many children who come to be 
ministered to in this place
as well as many others who will be trained here
have better accomodations. 

We also thank Mom for the hours
she spent sewing this material





So that we might have a bit more privacy while
staying at the centre.

For Dads work in putting up this security
light so that Mom doesn't get another
black eye when she walks
around the centre at night.

We thank God for Pastor
Wilber and his wife who helps
us keep an eye on the place when we are
gone. For his wife who occasionally
cleans when we are too busy in
Managua to come to the Island.

For helping us cut
the grass when we have been
too busy in Managua
with work to get back
to the centre

For having helped us repair
the posts in the fence line
of the property

For Pastor Wilbers wife
who helped us decorate
the fence line with these flowers.

We thank God for His provision
because I was finally able to buy and
put up some good lighting in the centre.

It sure makes things a lot easier
for working at night! 

But please continue to pray for the future
accomodations and bathroom area. 

While this shower area works for now, we
will need something better for the long run.

Don Daniel, Emmanuel
and Daddy still are taking measurements
as well as looking for ideas
for construction. 

Many plans are still being passed around
and talked about, so please
keep praying so God shows us His
best and continues guiding us in the
building process. 

And pray for me, as Yesenia and I make more

trips across lake Nicaragua to Ometepe. Pray that 

God reveals His Plans and programs
for the spiritual needs of the children on Ometepe. 

But especially pray for my parents now,
especially for their health in trying times.
Pray for new hope, vision, and strength
to have the victory.
