God touches hearts in January 2018


GOD OPENS MORE DOORS TO CHURCHES
ON OMETEPE IN JANUARY 2018 

I was a bit concerned just before the arrival of the missionary group who came in January 2018. None of the pastors or leaders I had contacted from the churches on Ometepe were showing much initiative to gather the kids in their communities to have an evangelistic event or to hold courses for their teachers.  Thanks to God however, He used Pastor Angel, one of our workers husband who made contact with Pastor Bernardo who  has a real heart for reaching the children for Christ. Thanks to God, Pastor Bernardo and Pastor Angel this year started off very well!

We saw Gods powerful hand at work because in spite
of the initial resistance from  the Pastors,
CEF's instructors came to train 67 students
from Compassion International from 7 different churches in Ometepe!

The introductory course teaches how
to present the Gospel using the hand.
Here I am teaching this to the churches
in FIEMCA

Yesenia teaching the importance of and

Thanks to Gods Grace we were able to reach
200 kids from 3 different churches
Here I am in Bethel Church in San Jose
Ometepe teaching 55 kids
In Luz Divina Church in Moyogalpa, Ometepe
Yesenia taught 61 kids.

Here in Luz Divina in Merida
we had an attendance of 84 kids

I always love when kids ask for prayer
after the class. This little boy of 6, a believer
in Jesus, asked for prayer for his friend who had
severe stomach problems. All the children
gathered around him and prayed along with
Yesenia

EVANGELISTIC CAMPAIGNS IN  RIVAS AND THE ISLAND OF OMETEPE MONTHS OF FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2019 In spite of many challenges in 2018, God continues being Faithful working through His servants in CEF Nicaragua.    I thank God for the way He is also opening up new oportunities for Yesenia and I as we step out and continue developing the work In the Rivas and Ometepe areas. We thank God for listening to the prayers that Yesenia and I were deligently presenting before Him to open up doors in Ometepe and Rivas areas.  It started by God opening the doors in the Community San Fransisco located in Rivas where we first gave our class to 43 children on the 9th of February 2019 God placed in the heart of the children the desire to invite us back and we returned on the 22nd of February to give a seccond class.  As you can see we were right at the road side where the whole community could hear us. Evangelistic Campaigns March 2019 From the middle to end of March 2019. Thanks to God, on March 31st, 2019, Yesenia, Emmanuel and I were able to teach another group of kids in Rosario Rivas-- in  El Rosario, Rivas, Nicaragua . About a 5 min. drive from the Glory to God Church, we had the priviledge of meeting another 75 children in a church located on Km 108 of the Pan American Highway, going towards Rivas.  — in  El Rosario, Rivas, Nicaragua . This time my Puppet Pasty, the Porrista, had the priviledge of helping me give the class.
