MY PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN

I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
Jeremiah 24:7.

So the children can know Him, the children
first of all need to know Jesus
as their Savior from Sin
This is always my first priority in every class.

MY HEART IS TO MINISTER TO
AND PRAY FOR AS MANY CHILDREN AS POSSIBLE
FOR THE UNSAVED AND SAVED CHILDREN

I always counsel or guide the unsaved child to Christ after the class as they respond to the invitation to receive Jesus as their Savior.

BUT MY DESIRE ALSO IS THAT THE SAVED CHILDREN KNOW HIM AS:

AS THEIR BEST FRIEND
Romans 5:8
but God shows his love

As their Healer

...and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

THEIR HELPER
The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear...
Hebrews 13:6

FOR MY FIRST 12 YEARS I WORKED FULL TIME IN
THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN MANAGUA

Each year I typically went to 3-4 public schools per year,
teaching the Bible in 12-14 classrooms per week like this one
and evangelizing on average 600-700 students per year.

Students from Raphaela School had invited me
to their end of school year celebration. At the
end they gave me some hand made gifts!

SOMETIMES MY WORK TAKES ME TO BACK YARD BIBLE CLUBS

THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST
BACK YARD BIBLE CLUBS
ON THE ISLAND OF OMETEPE

SOMETIMES MY WORK REQUIRES THAT I TEACH LARGE GROUPS OF KIDS

Churches will do evangelistic campaigns for children
in their communities outside of
the Sunday School programs and we are
called to evangelize those kids with
a class

Other times we have had opportunities to present
an evangelistic class in Public Schools.
The biggest group I have taught in
has been to 800 Students
